By creating an account or using Quiz in any way, you agree to follow these Terms of Use. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the platform. We may update these terms from time to time, and continued use of Quiz means you accept the current version.
This website provides as-is and as-available basis for educational purposes. We make no guarantees that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or completely error-free.
Accounts & your information
When you log in, you give Quiz access to certain personal information — such as your name and email — which we use to personalize your account, save your progress, and tailor quizzes to you.
You're responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity that happens under your account.
Fair play & score monitoring
Quiz scores mean something, so we monitor gameplay activity to keep the leaderboard honest. This includes watching for patterns consistent with cheating — such as automated answering, exploiting bugs, or using outside help to gain an unfair advantage.
Confirmed cheating is enforced on an escalating schedule:
Any scores gained through cheating may also be removed from leaderboards, regardless of when the violation is discovered.
Respectful conduct
Quiz is a space for everyone to enjoy. Abusive behavior, harassment, or irregular and offensive language directed at other users is not allowed, in usernames, messages, comments, or anywhere else on the platform.
Conduct violations are treated with the same escalating ban schedule described above — starting with a 24-hour ban and increasing in severity for repeat offenses, up to a permanent ban.
Creating your own quizzes
You can build and publish your own quizzes for others to play — just keep them clean. Public quizzes must not contain:
- Abusive, hateful, or racist content
- Political propaganda or content intended to incite political conflict
- Any other content designed to harass, demean, or target individuals or groups
Quizzes that violate this policy will be removed, and accounts responsible may face suspension or a permanent ban depending on the severity and frequency of the violation.
Fraud, scams & deceptive links
Using Quiz to defraud or deceive other users — in any form — is strictly prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to, sharing:
- Fake or malicious links
- Betting or gambling apps and websites
- Unauthorized loan apps or predatory lending schemes
- Any other content designed to scam, phish, or financially harm another user
Enforcement & appeals
We review reports and flagged activity before taking action. If you believe a ban was issued in error, you can contact us to request a review — we're happy to take a second look.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms of Use as Quiz evolves. When we do, we'll update the effective date at the top of this page. Continuing to use Quiz after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
